Banked Areas Expedition: When One View Isn’t Enough

If you can’t sit still for long, this article is for you. At this year’s Grand Prix of Czechia, you don’t have to stay in one place. With a three-day GOLD ticket, you can access all the natural banked areas, so why not turn the race weekend into a walking challenge and experience MotoGP from multiple angles?

Our advice to GOLD ticket holders is simple: plan a proper expedition across banked areas B, C, D, E, F and G. The Grand Prix of Czechia takes place from July 19 to 21, and you can enter the Brno Circuit through any gate and move freely between all natural grandstands.

For this unique motorsport adventure (of course walking is optional), you’re allowed to bring up to 1.5 liters of water and a small snack. You’ll have free movement through the center of the venue, including transit routes via the START and SCHWANTZ underpasses. A shopping zone will also be available near the main entrance. For the best overview of the on-track action, large LED video screens will be located at banked areas C, D, F and G.

Not sure where to go?

If this is your first time with a GOLD ticket and you’re unsure how to plan your personal route, here’s a tip: kick off Friday’s free practice sessions at banked areas B and E, where motorsport meets nature with forest nearby. Saturday’s qualifying raises the stakes, so settle in at banked areas D, F or G and thanks to the big screens, you won’t miss a moment. To feel the electric atmosphere of Sunday’s grand finale at its peak, head to the ever-popular banked area C.

Final tip

Did you know you can enjoy the same experience with a seated grandstand ticket? In addition to having your own guaranteed seat, you’ll also enjoy free access to all banked areas just like with a GOLD ticket.
