MotoGP Fans Raise CZK 74,000 for Children’s Oncology Care as Fundraiser Continues Through Sunday
19. 6. 2026
The Experience Brno initiative has delivered its first tangible results. Thanks to MotoGP fans purchasing one-day tickets for the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Czechia, CZK 74,000 has already been raised for the Krtek Children’s Oncology Foundation. The funds will support children receiving treatment at the Department of Paediatric Oncology at Brno University Hospital.
The initiative combines the opportunity to experience MotoGP in Brno with supporting a meaningful cause. For every one-day ticket sold through the project, CZK 100 is donated to help young cancer patients and their families.
“We are delighted by the positive response to the first edition of the Experience Brno project. The CZK 74,000 raised so far shows that motorsport can bring people together through a shared passion while also helping those who need it most. With one-day tickets remaining on sale until Sunday, we believe the total amount raised will continue to grow,” said Karel Hubáček, Chairman of the Board of Creditas Autodrom Brno.
“Every crown helps improve treatment conditions and the overall experience of children undergoing treatment and their families. We greatly appreciate all MotoGP fans who have chosen to combine a sporting experience with support for a good cause. Our sincere thanks go to both the organisers and Grand Prix visitors for their solidarity and generosity,” said Professor Jaroslav Štěrba, founder of the Krtek Children’s Oncology Foundation and Head of the Department of Paediatric Oncology in Brno.
Organisers remind fans that one-day tickets are still available. Visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of a world championship event while also contributing to the treatment of children with cancer.
Sunday grandstand tickets are available from CZK 3,900. As part of the initiative, children under 14 can purchase discounted grandstand tickets for a symbolic price of CZK 500.
The fundraiser in support of the Krtek Children’s Oncology Foundation will continue throughout the entire one-day ticket sales period, until Sunday, 21 June.
