MotoGP in Brno for a New Generation of Fans. Children Can Experience the World Championship for Free or at a Reduced Ticket Price
1. 6. 2026
Experience Brno for the First Time. Symbolically launched on International Children’s Day, the organisers of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic are introducing a special new programme designed to bring the atmosphere of MotoGP closer to a new generation of fans, as well as to those who have not yet had the chance to experience the FIM MotoGP World Championship live.
As part of the initiative, children aged 14 and under will be able to access natural grandstands free of charge on Friday, while newly introduced discounted tickets for seated grandstands will be available for race Sunday at CZK 500. Part of the ticket proceeds will also go towards supporting patients of the Department of Paediatric Oncology at Brno University Hospital.
The Grand Prix of the Czech Republic aims to open the world of MotoGP to a broader audience. The organisers have therefore prepared new special one-day tickets, designed to allow fans to experience the atmosphere of the World Championship at a more accessible price while also supporting families with children.
“We want MotoGP in Brno to be accessible to people who may so far have only followed the championship on television or social media. A one-day ticket is the ideal opportunity to take a first step into the world of Grand Prix racing, experience the atmosphere on site and decide whether to return for the full weekend in the coming years. At the same time, it is very important to us that our pricing policy remains family-friendly in the long term. We see this programme as a first step in a direction we want to continue in future editions,” says Karel Hubáček, Chairman of the Board of CREDITAS Autodrom Brno.
As part of the Experience Brno for the First Time programme, two special offers are available. For Friday’s programme, adults can purchase a natural grandstand ticket for CZK 890. Children aged 14 and under will be admitted free of charge on Friday when accompanied by an adult. The organisers are also adding discounted Sunday tickets for the T1, T2, T4 and T6 seated grandstands, priced at CZK 3,900 for adults and CZK 500 for children aged 14 and under.
According to the organisers, the programme is intended above all to accommodate fans who have so far only considered attending the Grand Prix due to the overall cost of the weekend, including the need to arrange accommodation.
The organisers have also prepared a special bonus for secondary school students from Brno and the South Moravian Region, who will have the opportunity to attend Friday’s programme free of charge. The aim is to introduce young people not only to the racing itself, but also to the environment of a major international sporting event.
“We want young people to experience major world events not only through television screens, mobile phones or social media, but also directly on site. The return of MotoGP to Brno is an opportunity to be part of something extraordinary in person – to soak up the atmosphere, see cutting-edge technology, experience an international environment and observe the work of the people behind world-class motorsport. It may also spark a new interest, inspiration or motivation. In my view, that too is part of education,” says Karel Jurka, Councillor of the South Moravian Region for Education.
The Experience Brno for the First Time programme also has a charitable dimension. From every ticket sold as part of this initiative, the organisers will donate CZK 100 to support paediatric oncology in Brno through the Krtek Children’s Oncology Endowment Fund.
“We greatly appreciate that the organisers of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic have decided to connect this extraordinary sporting event with support for children who need it most. MotoGP is a world-class event that can bring tens of thousands of people together and deliver joy, emotion and powerful experiences. We are all the more pleased that part of this energy will help support children treated at the Department of Paediatric Oncology in Brno and their families. Every partnership of this kind means a great deal to us,” says Sylva Richterová of the Krtek Children’s Oncology Endowment Fund.
The Grand Prix of the Czech Republic at CREDITAS Autodrom Brno is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. Tens of thousands of fans from the Czech Republic and abroad are expected to come to the Masaryk Circuit. At the same time, the Experience Brno for the First Time initiative aims to strengthen the positive relationship of the younger generation with Brno, the South Moravian Region and motorsport itself.
Tickets for the Experience Brno for the First Time programme are on sale from today at motogpczechia.com and through the Ticketportal network. Discounted children’s tickets, as well as free Friday admission for children aged 14 and under, can be added to the basket together with an adult ticket during the purchase process.
